This is a picturesque little steel mill or refinery or something tucked away on chicago's north side between a bunch of yuppy condo's and crate & barrel type stores. Go figure. I think it's on Cortland St.

Anyway, this work was equally inspired by El Greco, Charles Demuth, Edward Hopper, and Chicago itself. I nearly went mad painting all the bricks, so please take it off my hands at this price its a real steel (mill).
